Heavenly Father, We could never thank our military men and women enough for their courageous service and sacrifice to our country and its people. Show us ways in our
communities, churches, and families to thank and love them better. Keep and protect these
heroes and their families, in the powerful name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

WATCH YOUR POSTURE
Our posture is often a tip-off to our hospital-ity and reverence for the Lord. Note the actions of Abraham as he greeted the Lord in the pres-ence of three men who appeared near his tent. He ran from the entrance of the tent to greet them. He bowed to the ground as he met them. He and Sarah, his wife, hastened to prepare a meal and bring food and water to their guests.
In the Gospel story, Jesus’ friend Mary sat at his feet in order to listen to him speak.
How do we welcome and reverence the Lord? What do our actions show? Do we remember the Lord’s presence in the Blessed Sacrament? How do we welcome the Lord in the scripture read-ings? How do we acknowledge his presence in our brothers and sisters, both at Mass and after-wards?
Whether we kneel, stand, or sit in the Lord’s presence, may our hearts and minds always be attuned to him.

The Most Holy Redeemer
Today Redemptorists all around the world are celebrating this feast. Christ is the source of our salvation which is realized through the mystery of the Redemption. This mystery is celebrated, not primarily in its historical development as in the Paschal Triduum but in its inner meaning and universality, that is, as having its source in the love of the Father who gives the Son and the Love of the Son who gives himself for us.

Members of the Knights of Columbus Father Dillon Council 13989 of St. Gerard Mission Church are shown presenting a check in the amount of $700 to representatives of Space Coast Honor Flight (SCHF). Their mission is to take WW II and Korean War Vets to visit their War Memorials in Washington, D.C. Our Council recently held its first Spring Fling dinner dance with half of the proceeds donated to SCHF. This gave us a unique opportunity to show our gratitude to those Hero’s who made it possible for us to enjoy the freedom we have today.
