BULLETIN.

FIRST SATURDAY MASS The First Saturday Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m., July 2nd, followed by Exposition until 10 a.m.

This weekend we support the Holy Father in his charitable works. The Peter’s Pence Collection is taken up worldwide to support the most disadvantaged: victims of war, oppression, and natural disasters and others in need of emergency assistance. Pope Benedict XVI has said, “It is necessary above all that every person be motivated by the authentic spirit of peace” (Homily, January 1, 2011). Cast the peace of Christ upon the world—please be generous in this weekend’s collection, JUNE 25/26.

MAINTENANCE COLLECTION The Maintenance Collection will be taken up at all Masses next weekend, July 2 & 3, as the second col-lection.

Parish offices will be closed on Monday, July 4th, in celebration of Independence Day. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, July 5th at 8:30 a.m.

On the Feast Day of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, our parish feast day, Fri-day, July 1st, at 6 p.m. there will be an ex-position of relics of 150 saints. Fr. Carlos Martins of the Companions of the Cross will speak from 6 until 7 p.m., followed by veneration of the relics until 8 p.m. Every-one is invited. The story of these relics, an explanation of relics, and a list of the saints represented can be found on the bulletin board in the rear of church.

OUTSTANDING PARISH YOUTHS AWARDED BY DIOCESAN YOUTH OFFICE

The Outstanding Youth of Sacred Heart Par-ish are Ethan Cline, Bobby Dufrene and Katherine Ramirez. Congratulations to all of you! You make us very proud!

VOCATIONS CHALICE The Vocation Chalice will be presented to Patsy Mann at the 8 a.m. Mass, Sunday, June 26.

YOUTH MEETINGS Sacred Heart Youth Meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
