CALLING ALL VINCENTIANS TO PARTICIPATE March 25 2017 “March Against Hunger” Walk-a-thon Sponsored by: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul & Sacred Heart Catholic Church Kick-Off Weekend—February 25 & 26—T-Shirts will be available Walk-a-Thon—Saturday, March 25– Registration;7:30 a.m. at Bonaventure Hall Special features include: Very special-message, newly-designed T-Shirts (to earn -- one shirt per $30 collected/donated -- or to purchase for $7). Very kind, compassionate, and spiritual fellowship and prayer. Very special thank-you gifts. Very scrumptious food (lots of fruit, nuts, and snacks and the “#1 best-in-Patterson” breakfast burritos), abundant fun, and healthy exercise. A huge amount of walkers (246 in all) participated last year and we are counting on everyone please to help us beat that number this year by at least 50 or better yet -- 100. Also, there are several ways to donate so please pick up a donation form at the church office now or visit us outside church after each Mass during kick-off weekend (see above for date). Thanks to all of you – last year’s total donations were $10,875 a whopping increase of 13% over 2015. And we thank each and every one of you very much from the bottom of our hearts!!! H.O.S.T. FUNDRAISER HOST will be having a comedy night fundraiser. Tickets are $15 pre sale or $20 at the door. Candles

Purchasing an Annual Memorial Candle in honor of a loved one or for a special intention is a wonderful way to remember your loved one while supporting the parish and beautifying the sacred space of our church.

The annual offering for each candle is $250. Your memorial candle will “burn” for one full year in honor of your loved one or your special intention.

A small plaque displaying the name of your loved one or a special intention will be mounted in front of each candle. Plaques will remain on display for one year and may be renewed or rededicated for an additional 12-month period.

honor de un ser querido o para una Intención especial es una manera maravillosa para recordar a su ser querido y a la vez apoyar a la iglesia y embellecer el espacio sagrado.

La ofrenda anual por cada vela es $250. Su vela conmemorativa se “quema” durante un año en honor de su ser querido o su intención especial.

Una placa pequeña con el nombre de su ser querido o intención especial será montado en frente de cada vela. Placas permanecerán en exhibición por un año y podrán ser renovadas o dedicadas de nuevo por un periodo adicional de 12 meses.

The Crab Cioppino feed held on February 11 at the FDES Hall was a great success with good food and drink enjoyed by all! Profits expected to be nearly $34,000!
