‘Shaping education through a Bill of Rights, legislation and case law’
Call for Papers
Dates: 6-9 September 2015Venue: Golden Gate Hotel, Golden Gate National Park, Free State Province, South
AfricaIn 2014 South Africa celebrated 20 years of democracy. This year, we take a closer look at
how the Bill of Rights, legislation and case law has shaped education in South Africa over the past twenty years. However, it is not only in South Africa that education is shaped by education law. Members from the international community are therefore also invited to explore international perspectives on the influential effects that education law in the form of a human rights bill, legislation and case law has on education.
SAELA extends an invitation to international and national delegates to attend the 20 th
Annual International Education Law Conference. We invite you to join us at the annual conference to be held at Golden Gate Hotel, Golden Gate National Park in the Free State province of South Africa. Academia from all over the globe, school managers, administrators and governors, educators and teacher union members, legal practitioners, officials from education departments, members from the NGO sector, students, and all other interested parties are invited to attend.
