Course contents Safe Isolation Awareness Courses Full day and half day courses Who would benefit? What will I learn? At a location to suit YOU! Safe isolation is designed so that if you need to work on an electrical circuit or system you can make sure it is deemed “dead” and therefore safe for you to work on. The course starts with an explanation of the relevant guidance materials available and an introduction to electrical safety. The course then explores the tools and test equipment needed to safely isolate electrical installations and equipment. Concluding with a Q&A session giving those attending the chance to ask individual questions and seek clarification and guidance. This course is aimed at anyone, whether they are in a domestic, office or industrial environment, wishing to isolate electrical equipment prior to carrying out minor electrical testing and/or repairs of low voltage installations.... or if you need to conduct safe isolation of mechanical equipment prior to maintenance. The course is based around the guidance issued by the Electrical Safety Council, HSE Guidance Note GS38 and the Memorandum of Guidance on the Electricity at Work Regulations. This course is delivered by one of our trained staff in an informal yet informative presentation.
