SAFETY #1: ANIMALS Kemin believes that proper application equipment is key to the safe, efcacious and accurate use of Sal CURB – which ultimately keeps your animals safe. All feed or feed ingredient production facilities are not the same, and therefore, there is no one-size-ts-all application system. The Kemin Product Application Department (PAD) provides engineering support in the assessment, design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, warrantying and servicing of all systems.

Sal CURB Application Equipment

• Site Survey: An in-depth survey of the manufacturing location, to determine compatibility of a Sal CURB system with the specic production facility.

• Project Scope: From the site survey, a proposed application system summary is developed.

• Equipment Quote: A detailed cost quote is provided for new equipment or any modications of current components.

• Equipment or Supply Agreement: Kemin works closely with you to establish an agreed upon cost, with payment terms, for all application systems. At the same time, Sal CURB pricing can be established and set for an agreed upon time.

• Equipment Warranty: A one-year warranty is provided on all new application systems and components, including service.

• Scheduled Audits: With continued Sal CURB use, Kemin provides free-of-charge, scheduled audits of the application equipment and employee working environment.

• “On-Call” Service: Kemin realizes that emergencies can arise. The Kemin Pathogen Control Team is always available to assist in the event of an emergency.

Providing outstanding customer service and product support is important to Kemin. As your partner for feed biosecurity, the full Kemin team is always ready to assist.

Sal CURB Support and Services:

• Exemplary Customer Service: A dedicated Kemin Customer Service Representative (CSR) manages all Sal CURB orders and deliveries. Additionally, Kemin installs KemVIEW™ remote tank monitoring on all bulk systems. The KemVIEW system provides the user’s inventory manager and the Kemin CSR the ability to monitor tank levels to ensure Sal CURB levels do not exceed maximums or run out.

• Kemin Customer Laboratory Services (CLS): The CLS group offers a variety of testing services, including Sal CURB application rate testing, Salmonella prevalence and more. A sampling and analysis program can be developed to meet your needs.

• Research and Trials: Through CLS testing and the ability to execute custom mixing at the PAD Pilot Lab, modeling of in-eld situations can be replicated to answer pertinent questions.

#1 FOR FEED BIOSECURITY Producers and feed manufacturers are on the operational front lines and play a crucial role in mitigating biosecurity risks. Biosecurity breaches can impact food safety, deteriorate consumer trust and ultimately lead to lost revenue and production.

Keeping pathogens at bay is the rst step to an effective on-farm biosecurity program. An often-overlooked aspect in biosecurity planning, however, is the role of feed. Feed and feed ingredients may carry pathogens that are detrimental to animal health and welfare. That’s where Sal CURB® Liquid Antimicrobial comes in. Sal CURB is a key component of a comprehensive feed biosecurity and pathogen control program.

Sal CURB is a blend of aqueous formaldehyde 37% solution and propionic acid. Sal CURB maintains the Salmonella-negative status of complete feeds and feed ingredients for up to 21 days and controls mold in feeds or feed ingredients. With Sal CURB, you have 21 days peace of mind.

Product Features:

• U.S. Food and Drug Administration (21 CFR 573.460) approved use of formaldehyde for application on poultry and livestock feeds and feed ingredients.

• Use at the rate of 6.5 lbs. (3 kg) per ton of complete feed.

• Available in 1,000 kg containers and in bulk deliveries.
