THE POWER OFEDUCATIONOn 5th May, 2021, Honorable Ms. Shivani Agrawal Executive Director of The SAGE Group, shared her intellectual views on “Guide: How to study in Corona pandemic condition” and she focused on “Self positivity” and “Safety” and she also threw light upon the point that engagement in life is one of the key factors of productivity and development in one’s life. SAGE group has already prepared the efficient online world class infrastructure to provide to students in this pandemic time. SAGE group initiated many online academic activities, social activities and skill development programs to provide overall development to the students; resulting which, SAGE students got paid internships in different reputed brands of India. The whole live session was covered up and telecast by leading national news channel IBC24. It was an interactive session for the audience, students and their parents. Everyone was benefitted by her words and found pragmatic solutions in this pandemic.

SAGE SUMMERSCHOOLAlways looking forward for innovation and betterment in the field of education, SAGE group initiated the SAGE Summer School this month. It is a collaborative effort of SAGE University Bhopal, Indore and SIRT Sagar Group of Institutions Bhopal which all are a sister concerns of SAGE Group. Basically the concept of Summer Schools are very popular in foreign universities. SAGE is the first educational institution in Madhya Pradesh or perhaps in India which has introduced the concept of Summer Schools. Summer Schools on twenty plus different subjects inaugurated on 24th May, 2021 in an online ceremony with more than seven hundred participants on the Zoom platform.

Dr. M. P. Punia, Chairman AICTE, Dr. Bharat Singh, Chairman M.P.P.U.R.C (Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission)Bhopal and Prof. (Dr). Erin Scheult from California U.S.A were the distinguished guests for the inaugural ceremony. Chairman SAGE Group, Er. Sanjeev Agrawal & Executive Director SAGE Group Miss. Sakshi Agrawal initiated the program with their inaugural speech. Pro. Chancellor SAGE Group Dr. Prashant Jain and Vice Chancellor SAGE University Bhopal, Dr. V. K. Jain welcomed the distinguished guests. Dr. M. P. Punia appreciated the efforts taken by the SAGE Group, he suggested that their must be an alignment. between education and its implementation. Prof. Erin talked about leadership skills, she also gave a mantra for this pandemic times ' Know Yourself and Care for Others”. Dr. Bharat Singh discussed about the five types of health, he emphasized that educational institutions should pay attention and care towards the health and fitness of their students. Vice Chancellor SAGE University Bhopal concluded the session by his Vote of Thanks.

The activity “Hum Saath Saath Hein: Celebrating the power of togetherness”, showcases that M/s Agrawal Construction Co. is strongly connected to its clients and their families even when they are being apart in this lockdown, disseminating the power of connectivity and togetherness in once family. In this activity employees and clients capture memorable and unforgettable beautiful moments spend with their family members and sharing them. Resulting which, we are receiving surge of uncountable responses in the form of snapshots, these snapshots are being shared with different social media on behalf of M/s Agrawal Constructions Co. spreading happiness

Over the past year, officials in the field of education have been forced to cancel classes and close the doors of campuses across the world in response to the growing corona virus outbreak . During this period SAGE University Bhopal continues to provide convenient and innovative learning and teaching methods to create a bright future and a responsible environment around us. SAGE University Bhopal had organized a session on "COVID 19-: Challenges and Opportunities " on 2nd May 2021.This session was an address of the Honorable Vice Chancellor SAGE University Bhopal, Prof.(Dr) V. K. Jain to the students. The Convenor’s of this event were Prof. Sudhir Shrivastava and Dr. Swati A . Sharma, It was coordinated by Mr. Suraj Sharma. More than 250 students and their parents have attended the session . Honorable Vice Chancellor interacted with the s t u d e n t s a n d t h e i r p a re n t s to t a l k a b o u t thechallenges and opportunities during Covid times. Honorable Vice Chancellor motivated the students to attend online classes compulsorily.

MOTIVATION IN MISERY

VALUE ADDED COURSE

During the pandemic, SAGE University continues to provide learning and teaching to create a bright future and a responsible environment. SAGE University Bhopal had organised a five days Value Added Course on "How to handle the waste generated near by us". The course started on 17th of May and ended on 21st May 2021 by the School of Agriculture. The So Agri. provided E-Certificates to the participants who had registered and attended the sessions. The experts were Prof. Surendra Singh f rom Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. Dr. A. B. Singh ICAR-IISS, Bhopal and Dr. Sanjeev Verma Scientist, KVK, Betul. They provided the insights of their knowledge in this event. This event was completed successfully with the help of Prof. Dr. Pankaj Srivastava and Asst. Prof. Dr. Govind Gupta.

TECHNOLOGY DURING PANDEMIC:

A BOON OR A DOOM

On 8th May, 2021. Shabd Shalaka Literature Club SAGE University Bhopal, held a debate competition. It was a joint effort by Literature Club & School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The title of the debate was Vichar Shalaka. The Topic was “Technology During Pandemic: A boon or a doom.” Students from different reputed universities and colleges of Bhopal participated in this event, which were benefitted by the guest appearance of Dr. Vishal Gupta, Principal Polytechnic, Associate Professor at Radha Raman Group of Engineering & Technology as well as a social worker and one of the Scholarly personalities of the city. He was welcomed by Dr. Veena Kurre, HOS- School of Arts, Humanities and S.Sc. The program was started by invoking goddess Saraswati followed by the clash of views and brainstorming discussion. The Arguments went well followed by a question-answer round by our honorable judge Vishal Gupta.

The winner of the debate competition for the motion was Aryan Sahu (B.tech) and against the motion was Hamza Khan ( B.Sc. hons Agriculture). The winner for overall performance was Miss Mamta Patel (Arts & Humanities). The event was conducted by Nitin S. Chauhan (President Lit. Club). The Event was planned under the guidance of Dr. Swati Sharma, Club Advisor and Dr. Sehba Jafri Club incharge, Lit Club, Presented The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Manish Mishra. All the Deans ,HOS' and University Staff attended the event . The event was successfully organised by the extra effort of MR Deepesh Shukla, Miss Gaargi, and Awadhesh Saxena for whom Dr. Jafri expressed deep and sincere thanks at the end of the Program.

Sage School of Computer Application organised a workshop on "OPPs Concepts" giving students a deep understanding and learning through the workshop. It was organised on 13th May and ended on 15th May, 2021. The experts were Mr. Hemant Kushwaha an IT Instructor from NCA Academy and Mr. Arun Kumar Ganiger, a Senior Consultant f rom IBM. They made various concepts easier to understand for the students. It was organised by Asst. Prof. Mr. Saket Jain and Asst. Prof. Mr. Ahtesham Farooyui.

WORKSHOPS

Sage School of Arts Humanities & Social sciences and School of Performing Arts organised a workshop on "PROCESS OF DEVELOPMENT OF AN ACTOR" enlightening the students. It was organised on 22th May at 02:00 pm. The expert Mr. Abhijit Lahiri Senior Actor & Founder, Lahiri Acting School exposed the students to intricacies of theatre and drama. It was organised by Dr. Veena Kurre Associate Professor Head Of School Arts, Humanities & Social science.

Sage School of Advance Computing conducted a webinar on "Building a Career in Cybersecurity", guiding them with the essentials towards typical cybersecurity career path. It was organised on 23rd May, 2021 giving them knowledge about career in cybersecurity and IT experience. Manager academics-India EC-Council Mr. Kumar Eeshan was the expert in this webinar. This webinar was organised by Mr. Gourav Shrivastava Incharge HOS (E&T) and Moderater Mr. Abhigyan Tiwary Assistant Professor of the School of Advanced Computing.

Learning for the 12th board exams becomes easier when students joined SAGE mentors and experts. SAGE University, Bhopal is providing doubt-solving sessions free of charge for the students of class 12 . The experts readily cleared all their doubts on subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Arts, Commerce Agriculture sharing the solution with them in video format. LEARNING SESSION

Despite of the mind boggling pandemic the world is facing, a one day seminar was organised by SAGE University, Bhopal on the occasion of International Biodiversity day, which is known for bringing awareness among people and students about the Biodiversity; Building a sustainable future for all life forms on earth. Under the shadow of visionary leaders of SAGE, Er. Sanjeev Agarwal, Dr. Prashant Jain, Shivani Agarwal, Dr. Ashish Dutta , Dr. V K Jain . The keynote speakers were Dr. A K Pandey, Dean of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh and Dr. Santosh Ranjan Mohanty who is THE Principal Scientist Network Coordinator of All India Network Project on Soil Biodiversity Biofertilizers ICAR- Indian Institute of Soil Science , Bhopal. Both the Speakers motivated the students throughout the seminar and taught them about the important of Biodiversity and their role as a human being towards environment. The Moderator of the Seminar was Dr. Govind Gupta, University Coordinator in Green Credit, Yoga and Meditation.

SUB CLUB ACTIVITY

Mr. Harsh Rathore received a token of appreciation from Rotary Club Bhopal for his valuable contribution in the development of Rotaract Club of SAGE Smart City Bhopal. SAGE Rotaract Club organized various awareness program

through social media like Save the Stray, Safety against Covid-19 etc. BOLLYWOOD KA BETAJ BADSHAH event was conducted in the last week of April in which 104 Participant were registered and facilitated the winner with cash Prize.

On 15 May 2021 SAGE Rotaract Club in collaboration with Rotary Club Smart City Bhopal organized the City talk show on “Covid-Awareness & Myths”

ROTARACT CLUB ACTIVITY

SPORTS CLUB ACTIVITYSAGE Sports Club organised an online LUDO event on 8th & 9th May 2021 on LUDO King TM. Total 512 participants got registered including 169 Girls and 343 Boys f rom different schools and colleges all over the nation. They created separate groups for boys and girls. Each team consisted of 4 members, one of them hosted in game lobby. From 1st round 49 girls and 60 boys got qualified. Same process was followed for 2nd round in which 17 girls and 12 boys were qualifiers for semi final round.

After successful completion of two rounds top 3 boys and top 5 girls emerged for the semi final round. The final round got 2 boys & top 2 girls as finalists. From which top 3 winners were declared. Gupta Traders Jabalpur sponsored Amazon prime membership for 1 month to the winner of the event.

Think, Connect & Win An Online Mode Competition of TIC TAC TOE was conducted by the Sports Club of the University on 21/April/2021. It was an Online competition of very famous game Tic Tac Toe.

Out of 256 Registered Participants 150 played very enthusiastically. All the participants were provided a common link onto which they have to login with their credentials. After logging in successfully they directly got into the tournament .At the end the winners were selected on the basis of their ranking with respect to their scores.Event was Coordinated by Dr. Ajay Soni with the host students of Sports club Mayank Vishwakarma, Rishabh Jain and Avinash Gov. NSS CLUB ACTIVITY

NSS Club organized a workshop on Effective News Writing by Journalist Sarjan Singh Shilpkar on 13th May 2021. About 40 students of the School of Agriculture participated in this workshop and learnt how to write the news content for media.
