Jesus lays out the demands of following Him - the great cost of discipleship. The Mission Statement of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul states: “Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice...the Society

makes no distinction in those served because in them Vincentians see the face of Christ. Have you considered answering the call to help serve the poor by joining the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul?

Prayer Line - If you are in need of prayers, call the healing and restoration prayer line at 617-442-3938 (located at Mission Church, 1545 Tremont Street, Boston). Healing service is the last Sunday of the month at 2:00 PM.

People living with depression : Next meeting, Thursday, September 29. Join us for an evening of prayer and fellowship as we seek the Lord's healing together. For more information contact Karen Cela-no at 516-946-6287 or [email protected].

In two weeks, there will be a special collection to benefit the Clergy Health and Retirement Trust which ensures an appropriate level of care and quality of life for our 614 Boston priests. Our priests share the good news, perform good works and spread good faith. Remember the priests who have made a difference in your life and consider honoring them with a generous gift to the collection. Thank you in advance for your prayerful support of this important collection.
