The Boston Sock Exchange Ministry serves our homeless brothers and sisters on Boston Common on the second Saturday of each month. Please remember the homeless by bringing seasonally-appropriate men’s and women’s clothing to the bin at the back of the Church or to the Parish Center. We

need men’s new socks, rain ponchos, winter outerwear, umbrellas, juice boxes, Gatorade, or any other individual-sized non-carbonated drinks. We have enough water. Join us in the Parish Center next Friday, November 11, at 7:00 PM to prepare sandwiches and help organize donations. Please volunteer to help with distribution next Saturday, November 12, at 11:00 AM on Boston Common. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For information, please contact Sheila O’Brien: [email protected] .

Parish Coffee and Donuts: No Coffee Hour today because of the ACHS Open House. We will resume next Sunday, November 13.

Thanks to everyone who donated to our Clothing Drive. Many van-loads of coats, pants, socks, etc. were collected. The clothes will help keep our needy neighbors warm. Saint Vincent de Paul bins are located next to Saint Agnes School for donations all year of

clothing and shoes for men, woman and children. Your financial donations to our “poor boxes” located at the doors of the Church help us to assist those in need. May God Bless you for helping to feed the hungry and clothe the naked.

Say No on Question 4: Cardinal Seán has asked Catholics to vote “no” on Question 4 on Tuesday’s Ballot. The Cardinal says, “As an Archdiocese, we are particularly concerned about the serious risks to youth that would follow the enactment of this proposed law. We educate more than 40,000 students in our schools and have a presence in 144 cities and towns through our 289 parishes. We hold our responsibility for the safety and well being of children and families as paramount in all that we do. Numerous highly-credentialed research studies have established the very serious damage to the physical, intellectual and emotional health of youth that is caused by marijuana use. We hold as an important obligation to do all that we can to prevent this from occurring.
