The Tabernacle Candle burns this week in Memory of

Paul Sullivan Requested by Family

The cleaning of the interior brick of the Church is going nicely. This past week they worked on the Blessed Mother side. It is wonderful to know that every brick is being washed and the soil of many years removed!

Thank you for your support that makes this possible! This weekend, February 3 & 4, is our Parish Feastday Weekend! We are celebrating the Mass of St. Blaise at the Liturgies, and we have the Blessing of Throats following both Masses! Our St. Blaise Youth Connection is taking part in the Souper Bowl of Caring, an effort by young people throughout the United States to transform the time around the Super Bowl into the Nation’s largest celebration of giving and serving. Members of our Youth Connection will be at the entrances after Mass, holding soup pots, and will gratefully accept donations of one dollar! These donations will be divided between our Table of Plenty Community Dinner and our St. Vincent de Paul Society. On Saturday, February 3, please join us for our annual Feastday Gathering in the Lyceum following the 4:30 P.M. Mass & Blessing of Throats. We will have a short program and then a Festive Meal of pasta (with meat or marinara sauce), salad, and cake. Please see the Prayer to St. Blaise on the Insert (on the other side is the Timeline again for On Mission, which is also in the Pittsburgh Catholic Newspaper this week).

Let us give heartfelt thanks to God as we rejoice in the tremendous gift of our Parish Family!

Fr. Michael
