2018 CATHOLIC APPEAL Thank you to all who have already pledged their support.
St. Bridget Parish has raised $28,987 toward our 2018 Catholic Appeal goal of $29,985. We are at 97% of our goal. We have $998 left to go. If you have not given yet and would like to, pledge forms are available in the back
of the church. Please take one home and put it in the collection basket at Mass.
Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist From his birth, John the Baptist was “a light to the nations” and one who grew strong in God’s spirit. While John knew
he was not the messiah, he also knew that his role was to prepare people’s hearts for the coming of Christ. In what
ways are you, like John the Baptist, “a light for the nations” leading others to Christ? Who are the people in your life
that need to be pointed toward Christ?
