Welcome to Saint Joseph’s Church Thank you for joining with us as we celebrate the Eucharist. We are happy that you gather with us to-day, especially if you are visiting. Our prayer is that you will find the nourishment for your faith in this beautiful house of God.
CHRISTMAS SPIRITUAL BOUQUET CARDS are available at the entrances of the church. A spiritual bouquet makes a wonderful gift to family and friends. The outer envelope may be placed in the Sunday offering basket.
Important Meetings for All Altar Servers
There will be a mandatory meeting of all altar serv-ers on Thursday, January 12th at 7PM and Thursday, January 19th at 7PM in the Church to go over some basic practices and policies while serving mass. Every active altar server must attend one of these meetings in order to remain an ac-tive server. If you have any questions, problems, or concerns, please contact Fr. Blood Drive Planning
Dear fellow parishioners. Once again it is that time of year when we give gifts to our loved ones in the spirit of the Magi who traveled to Bethlehem to give homage to the baby Jesus. In that spirit, we are asking you to consider giving the gift of life to those in need this Christmas
Season. We will have our annual St. Joseph Blood Drive on Thursday, December 29th, and this year the drive will be in the Parish Center from 2 PM until 8 PM. At this time of the year when everyone is out shop-ping or traveling to visit family, the need for blood becomes more acute. We will be signing up donors the weekend of December 17-18 in the Narthex. However we always welcome walk-ins so if you are unsure, feel free to make a last minute decision. We accept donations from healthy individuals between the ages of 16 and 75. Once you have reached your 76th birthday a note from your doctor telling us that you are healthy enough to donate will be needed, and 16 year olds will need permission from a parent. Please bring a photo ID. If you would like to volunteer to assist the team in registering and assisting donors on December 29th, please contact Dan Sudlik at [email protected] or 914-276-3125. Once again, please consider giving the gift of life and have a Holy and Happy Christmas.

The Food Pantry Committee is looking for a few volunteers to help deliver food (on a rotating schedule) to the Katonah Community Center the first weekend of each month. Food is delivered on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday mornings. If you're able to help, or would like further information, please call the Barbara Mur-phy at 845-621-0015.

Childhood hunger hampers a young person’s ability to learn.
Our monthly food drive for the pantry at the Community Center of Northern Westchester will be held the weekend of January 7th & 8th. January and February are typically months when the Center has a higher demand for food (many seasonal workers are laid off during the winter); it's
also a time when donations decline. The Center has asked us to focus on baby food, formula and diapers. Of course, all non-perishable food donations are welcome. Our Christmas total was 2,294 pounds. Thank you for your faithful and continued support of our neighbors in need. Remember, no donation is too small!
