Hermanos: Al llegar la plenitud de los tiempos, envió Dios a su Hijo, nacido de una mujer, nacido bajo la ley, para rescatar a los que estábamos bajo la ley, a fin de hacernos hijos suyos. GOSPEL / EVANGELIO Lucas2, 16-21 / Luke 2:16-21 The Lord be with you. All: And with your spirit. A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke. All: Glory to you, O Lord. The shepherds went in haste to Bethlehem and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child. All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds. And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart. Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them. When eight days were completed for his circumcision, he was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel before he was conceived in the womb. The Gospel of the Lord. PROFESSION OF FAITH / CREDO I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. (At the words that follow, all bow.)

For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, Creo en un solo Dios, Padre todopoderoso,
