BISHOP DAVID J. WALKOWIAK ASKS US TO PRAY FOR OUR SEMINARIANS

Loving God, raise up dedicated leaders who will shepherd your people and guide them to your Son. Give generous and willing hearts to the seminarians of our Diocese who have heard your call to live a life of service to the Church. Help us to encourage and support them as they strive to become priests who are models of discipleship, possessors of wisdom and on fire with love for your people. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. We especially pray for: David Sacha

Pre-School thru 2nd grade Children’s Liturgy / 11AM Mass

Today in Children’s Liturgy of the Word we told the children that the season of Advent invites us to renew our lives in preparation for the coming of Jesus. In today's Gospel, the people who heard the message of John the Baptist repented of their sins and were baptized as a sign of God’s forgiveness. In Baptism, our sins are forgiven, and we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, who helps us in our life of discipleship. Led by the Holy Spirit, we use this Advent season to renew our lives so that we, like John the Baptist, might prepare the way for Jesus. Advent calls us to prepare the way for Jesus by renewing our lives through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. "The Confession of evil works is the first beginning of good works." Saint Augustine

Thank you to all of the Second graders and their families who joined us for Mass, singing, and the distribution of hand made cards at St. Ann's Home this weekend. What a beautiful witness of Christ's Love you showed to the residents there!
