English Baptism classes are normally offered the 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Upper Conference Room in the Parish Office. Both English classes must be attended.

Parents and godparents are required to attend.

Divine Mercy Chaplet

All are welcome, every Monday at 6pm in the Adoration Chapel to

This week we will be discussing the Virgin Mary, her Immaculate Conception, her role in Jesus' live and her role in our life today. On November 27th we will discuss the Sacraments of Healing, Penance and the Anointing of the Sick. December 2nd at the 10:30 am Mass, we will have the Rite of Welcoming where you as the assembly will welcome our catechumens into our parish faith family.

This week, Grades 1-5A will be talking about prayer. Using the Pope Francis' way of praying using our fingers, we will say a prayers for those who are important to us. There will be a handout to take home to practice. Please help your student to learn to prayer for others using this technique The following week, we will be talking about the liturgical year and the seasons of the church. Help point out to your students how the colors in the church change, the songs are different, and Fr. Steve's vestments are a different color. What color is he wearing and what does it mean? Please remember to help fill our treat bags for the students for our showing of "The Star". Juice boxes, wrapped candy, cookies, Takis, etc, We need to be able to fill around 300 bags. Any donation will help.

This Weekend is Commitment Weekend! This weekend marks the ask weekend of our Called to

Serve as Christ campaign. During all Masses, Fr. Woodland will invite those who have not yet had an opportunity to participate in the campaign, to join our

success. Further, we want to say thank you to everyone who has already made a commitment to this important effort. Together, we are helping secure the future of the

Archdiocese of Seattle. We ask anyone who has yet to make a campaign commitment to consider, pray and “ contribute during today’s Masses. Every gift makes a

difference!

CAMPAIGN UPDATE: To date, our parish has raised $78,570 toward our goal of

$1,002,074. This comes from the generosity of only 32 households. If you are not able to make a pledge today,

commitment envelopes will remain in the pews next week. Also, you are welcomed to by call the campaign

INFORMATIONAL MEETING Called to Serve as Christ

Eucharistic Adoration

Parents of Religious Education Catechism Class enrollees, waiting for their

children on Monday nights, are invited to join in adoration

before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Experience the presence of Jesus through prayers, meditation and silence. He

The St. Philomena Parish

Youth Group is an opportunity

for students in 6th through 9th

grade to get together on a

Sunday afternoon. The mission

of our Youth Group is to provide the students with

various events and activities that strengthen and

deepen their relationship with God and with their

peers. There is also an emphasis on service and the

commitment to help others. We meet usually twice a

month on Sundays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Youth

Group is for any St. Philomena Parish student in 6th

through 9th grade.

The St. Philomena School Youth Group would like

to thank all veterans and current military personnel

for their service and dedication. We applaud and ap-

preciate all that you have done for our freedom and

for our country. Happy Veterans Day & Thank
