“CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE”

Please visit our “GIVING TREE” which will be located in the church vestibule

ONE WEEK from now, SATURDAY, NOV. 18 AND SUNDAY, NOV. 19.

The “GIVING TREE” is our annual Christmas ministry at St. Rose of Lima Parish. We have been doing this since 1987. By participating in this program, you can reach out to less-fortunate families from our sister parish St. Malachy located in Philadelphia. We also have Incarnation/St. Helena Parish in Philadelphia who also needs help and would appreciate any gifts that you would be able to give to them. This is a wonderful opportunity to play “St. Nicholas” and experience the true meaning of Christmas.

The “GIVING TREE” will be decorated with TAGS that contain the names and desired gifts for members of these families. Each tag contains people from the same family.

AFTER YOU SELECT A TAG FROM OUR “GIVING TREE”, DETACH THE RED SLIP. FILL IN YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER AND PLACE IN THE DECORATED GIVING TREE BOX ON THE TABLE IN THE VESTIBULE OF CHURCH. THIS INFORMATION HELPS IN TRACKING THE RETURN OF THE GIFTS.

RETURN all gifts with RED TAGS WRAPPED and placed (in large Hefty-style bag with the “GIVING TREE TAG” attached to the OUTSIDE of the bag).

This year we are asking for TOYS FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN UP TO AGE 12 – UNWRAPPED. Fr. Kletzel from St. Malachy will give these UNWRAPPED TOYS to the children at a Christmas Celebration.

RETURN ALL GIFTS TO THE PARISH CENTER (GYM) on SATURDAY, DEC. 9TH after or before the 5 PM MASS, and on SUNDAY, DEC. 10TH after the morning Masses until 12:30.
