In every age, you have called together communities of faith to worship you, and to serve those most in need. The Baptism of the Lord

We are invited on this great Feast to live our lives in the "Theophany" of the God who is aTrinitarian communion of Perfect love. The Christian vocation, no matter what our state inlife, is to reveal the Love of the Trinity to the entire human race in order to bring them to theWaters of Baptism into New Life in the new humanity of the Church which is Christ's Body. There, joined in Him we participate in His ongoing redemptive mission until He returns to

make all things new. – Catholic online

After the Lord was baptized, the heavens were opened, and the Spirit descended upon himlike a dove, and the voice of the Father thundered; This is my beloved Son,

with whom I am well pleased.
