GENERAL CONDITIONS

LOCATION: The sale will be held on the Car Park Field, Usk Showground, Gwernesney, Usk, Monmouthshire, NP15 1EY WASH FACILITIES: Facilities will be available on site to cleanse and disinfect lorries and trailers delivering sheep to the sale. CONDITIONS OF SALE: The sale is held subject to the Livestock Auctioneers Associates Condition of Sale (available at the Office). SETTLEMENT & CLEARANCE: Settlement is due immediately at the close of the sale. No Lots to be removed from the sale field without an official ‘Pass Slip’ obtainable only from the Auctioneers Office upon settlement. RICS CLIENT MONEY PROTECTION SCHEME: All financial transactions within this sale are conducted with the Auctioneers acting as Principal. Sale proceeds are not paid into a client bank account and, consequently, the RICS Client Money Protection Scheme (CMPS) will not apply to protect the vendor. SHEEP IDENTIFICATION: The sale is registered as a ‘Central Point Recording Centre (CPRC)’ by the Welsh Assembly Government/DEFRA. Vendors bringing sheep to the sale can place a tick against the CPRC Box on the AML1 Licence. The auctioneers will provide a list of the electronic ear tags which have been read. There is no requirement for vendors of breeding sheep with full EID to read tags prior to the sale.

All Breeding Sheep MUST have Full EID.

All Store Lambs intended for slaughter MUST have an Electronic Tag or Full EID.

Non Electronic Tags are no longer permitted.
