HERE IS WHY WE DO ITAt 60,000 miles, your Lexus is now due for its second major service. This is an excellent

opportunity for certified Lexus Technicians to closely examine your vehicle’s engine components.

As you can see, all of the previous services are performed. Then our certified Lexus Technicians

use specialized equipment to be sure that all the mechanical, electronic and computer devices

are working properly. It also means flushing out your vehicle’s brake fluid, inspecting the brakes’

mechanical components, refilling the brake system and purging any air from the brake lines. At

this time, we also need to address your vehicle's heating and cooling system. Over time, your

engine coolant becomes contaminated, loosing its ability to protect your engine from freezing in

cold weather conditions. Your anti-freeze also loses its ability to protect the metal components in

your engine from rust and corrosion, causing premature engine and gasket failure. Very

expensive repairs could result from lack of this required maintenance. We drain the old engine

coolant from your radiator. We properly dispose of the old anti-freeze and replace it with new

coolant. At this service, we replace the air and A/C filter. As gasoline and air is used in your

engine, it passes through a filter and a series of injectors, with all of these components becoming

dirty and clogged, causing poor performance and decreased fuel economy. We inspect your fuel

lines and connectors for any damage or wear, and we check your fuel tank vapor vent system,

hoses and fuel tank supports. On most vehicles, your air conditioner micron filter will be losing its

ability to filter out unwanted contaminants and needs to be replaced.

Complete Transmission ServiceThe transmission is one of the most sophisticated pieces of equipment in yourvehicle’s powertrain. The transmission valve body controls all hydraulic shiftingfor your vehicle. The valve body consists of numerous valves, springs, hydraulicpassages and electric solenoids. A regular transmission service will usuallydrain only about half of the old fluid from the valve body. As a result, there arecontaminants that will remain inside your transmission once this basic service iscomplete. These contaminants can potentially cause the intricate componentswithin the transmission to fail, resulting in costly repairs. Our Complete

Transmission Service is a combination of a flush and fluid exchange. The injectors spray directly into theintake valves, and it is critical that this spray is as fine a mist as possible, so thatthe fuel will burn more easily. When fuel injectors become dirty or clogged,your vehicle can experience problems ranging from surging and hesitation tohard starting. Complete Brake Fluid ServiceWhen it comes to maintaining the brake system, you certainly want to avoidfuture costly repairs. But the foremost issue is safety. When you depress thebrake pedal in your vehicle, the force from your foot is transferred to the brakethrough an fluid. Over time, brake fluid tends to collect moisture, which cancorrode inside the brake lines. This moisture can also lower the boiling point ofthe fluid; if vapors become present within the fluid, there is potential for brakefailure. In addition to moisture, the brake fluid gradually collects dirt and otherdebris that can cause wear on calipers and wheel cylinders and damage the

various intricate components of an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). Why take any chances? HERB CHAMBERS LEXUS LOANER CAR POLICY

Herb Chamber Lexus will provide a courtesy vehicle at no expense to the customer while the vehicle

is being serviced based on the following:

• Loaner vehicles not available for body shop.

• Loaner vehicles will be provided (based on availability) for any appointment requiring two (2) or

more hours to complete.

• Loaner vehicles must be requested at the time the appointment is made to insure availability

• Loaner vehicles are provided for use on the day service is performed.

• Herb Chamber Lexus requests that you return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel that it left

with or allow a charge for fuel on the repair invoice.

• Damage to a loaner car is the sole responsibility of the listed driver. Repairs must be made

immediately and any insurance payments and/or deductibles paid at Herb Chamber Lexus.

If your vehicle is required to stay overnight at the dealership's service department because of a

warrantable condition requiring longer than eight (8) hours to repair, Lexus will provide you with a

courtesy vehicle for a maximum of five (5) days only if parts not available.

• We request that you treat the courtesy vehicle with respect. Herb Chamber Lexus assumes no

liability for operation of courtesy vehicles. Any fines or traffic violations will be the responsibility of

the driver listed on the application.
