Working with youth and keeping on the right side of the law and helping
your clients protecting their rights. Includes some case examples:-
• Youth Workers legal obligation if they become aware that their
client has committed an offence.
• Youth Workers legal obligation if they are aware that a young
person is in possession of stolen property
• No money, no support …. How can you help a young person getting
representation - what offences can they get help for?
• How can you help a young person if they are going to be unrepresented – what can a youth worker / case manager do?

4.00pm Soapbox - 2 minute chance to plug your new activity / event / call
for partners or introduce a new staff member.
4.25pm Informal networking
4.30pm Free business card draw
4.45pm Event Close
Network events are open to any professions / workers who are directly working with
youth across the City of Salisbury. Network events are free but RSVP is essential.

Understanding Aboriginal Culture in the Workplace
Presented by Mr Basil Coleman of Tjukonaru Consulting , a 2.5 hour interactive workshop exploring the strategies to work together and work successfully with the aboriginal community and develop a joint pathway forward.
This aboriginal led workshop had fantastic feedback last time.
