Salt Lake City Data Center Services Service Brief Salt Lake City Data Center (SLCDC) supports the evolving modern mission critical needs of organizations and multiple IT Managed Services including: Data Center services, Private Cloud Services, Enterprise Services Management (ESM) suite, a Unisys Managed Services Center (MSC) providing Service Desk services, WW Audit Services and a client hardware maintenance facility The SLCDC is an integrated 155,000 square foot facility containing a dedicated 30,000-square-foot, raised floor, secure data center designed to meet stringent requirements for security, reliability and concurrent maintainability. This facility supports a wide range of IT Managed Services and is home to Windows, UNIX, and mainframe platforms composed of technologies from every major manufacturer including IBM, Oracle/SUN, Unisys, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, EMC, Hitachi, Cisco, Brocade and many others. The SLCDC facility has concurrently maintainable power and cooling distribution paths and redundant components. The facility includes a state-of-the-art Enterprise Services Management Command Center, where monitoring and control services are provided for all Unisys data centers and other outsourcing customer’s data centers. This center allows operators to have real-time access to information on system availability, security and status. The SLCDC is safe, secure, and protected from disruption or intrusion. All critical procedures, equipment, and software systems have a backup, an acceptable alternative, or a proven workaround solution for use in component or system failure. The SLCDC is also in full compliance with industry guidelines for safety, fire protection, uninterrupted power supply, and security requirements. The SLCDC is protected by full-perimeter security features, including, video surveillance cameras, and intrusion alarms. All entrances and exits are monitored by security cameras and controlled by a proximity card access system. The 7x24 security guard monitors the cameras in addition to all critical building alarms. Management can monitor the cameras via the Unisys intranet. All data center raised floor facilities are “dual challenge” access. With more than 500 professionals located on-site, the SLCDC has the business and technical IT resources with the specialized experience, education, and training needed to support our client’s IT environment. Unisys closely aligns our technical IT professionals with our client’s day-to-day system requirements. Salt Lake City Data Center (SLCDC) supports the evolving

modern mission critical needs of organizations and multiple

IT Managed Services including: Data Center services, Private

The SLCDC is an integrated 155,000 square foot facility

- Dry pre-action sprinkler system for data center raised floor

• The Power System is Equipped with:

- Two utility feeds from different utility substations

- On-site 46 KV switching station

- Four 750 KW generators for N+1 redundancy

- Four data center 500 KVA UPS modules in a N+1 configuration

- Two call center 500KVA UPS modules in a N+1 configuration

• The Cooling System Provides:

- 30 DX air cooled Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units for the computer floor N+2

- Redundancy for all system components

- Generator backup for all critical cooling loads

- Centralized humidification system consisting of 13 Nortec, column mounted electrode steam humidifiers

- CRAC unit alarms
