Salty Paper est une agence fraîchement composée de trois entités.

Thomas Lodin, photographe, graphiste et vidéaste ayant travaillé pour le magazine Soul BMX, la marque de surf Hoalen ou encore pour Red Bull. Il est co-fondateur du magazine Sorry Mom.

Paul Legrix, graphiste et typographe ayant travaillé pour Beach Brother Magazine, Svpply-studio et fondateur du magazine Palmipède.

Adrien Ballanger, photographe, graphiste et typographe ayant travaillé pour Serena Lutton, entre autre graphiste principale pour Désillusion Magazine. Il est co-fondateur du magazine Sorry Mom.

Philosophy

Tous les trois pratiquants de surf nous sommes depuis toujours sensibles à l’univers qui nous entoure lors de la pratique de ce sport. Notre travail en est fortement influencé puisque nous nous intéressons à tous les médiums qui y touchent, que ce soit la photo, la vidéo ou encore la peinture. Pratiquants depuis de nombreuses années, nous nous efforçons de conserver une démarche écologique aussi bien dans notre hobby que dans notre travail. Ainsi vous pourrez constater l’utilisation de matériaux recyclés et plus respectueux de l’environnement dans nos productions, une démarche que nous souhaitons conserver et développer autant que possible auprès de nos clients. Nos centres d’intérêts sont aussi vastes que nos

productions, en dehors de la pratique du surf nous avons des passés différents qui nous permettent une grande diversité dans notre travail. Pour certains d’entre nous le travail de la lettre et présent depuis plusieurs années avec l’exercice du graffiti, pour d’autres la photo a commencée lors des premiers « rides » sur une planche de skate ou en BMX. Des passions qui nous ont fait découvrir des magazines, des sites web, des évènements de différents horizons nourrissant notre travail graphique. Autant de points différents qui nous permettent aujourd’hui de répondre à un large panel de demandes, allant du shoot photo, à l’affiche, en passant par la maquette de magazine et bien d’autres productions graphiques.

All surfer we are from long time, sensitive about the culture who surround this sport. Our work is strongly influenced by it because we interesting to the entire medium who touch it, by the photos, movies or still paint. We surf for several years now and we’ve keep all the time an ecologic way in our work. So you’ll can see the utilization of environment-friendly materials in our productions, an approach we want to keep and develop with our customers.Our centers of interests are also vast as our productions,

except surfing we have different past that permitted to a large diversification in our work. For some of us the work about typography begin with the graffiti, for others the photography begin on a skateboard or a BMX and of course continue with surf, hobbies who permitted us to discover different magazines, web sites, events from different horizons feeding our graphic works. Lots of different points who allow us answering to a wide panel of asking going of photo shoot, posters, layout design and many others graphic solutions.

Photographe depuis 2008, il débute le surf la même année et commence à shooter ce milieu qui est devenu pour lui un style de vie. Il approche le graphisme par le biais de son frère qui travaille en tant que graphiste indépendant, puis rentre en école d’art graphique de 2011 à 2014 où il commence à réaliser ces premières vidéos, ainsi que le magazine Sorry Mom en collaboration avec Adrien Ballanger.

Photographer since 2008, he learns to surf the same year and begin to shoot this sport that became a life style for him. He touch the graphic design by his brother who worked as an independent graphic designer, then he studies in graphic art school between 2011 to 2014 where he start to realized is first movies, and create Sorry Mom Magazine in collaboration with Adrien Ballanger.

Il commence le graff et le surf en 2003. Il passe par l’école des beaux-arts de Bretagne en design de mobilier, puis affine ses choix de créations en se dirigeant vers le graphisme. Il rentre en école d’art graphique de 2011 à 2014 où il commence à réaliser ces premières maquettes de magazines.

He begins the graffiti and surf in 2003. He passes by the « fine art school » of Lorient in movable design, then step by step he go to graphic design. He comes in a graphic art school between 2011 to 2014 where he starts to make his first layout design of magazines.

Paul Legrix

Il débute son éveil graphique par la photographie en 2004, la même année où il commence à surfer. C’est en école d’art graphique, de 2011 à 2014 qu’il continue son chemin créatif en découvrant la typographie ainsi que le graphisme en général. Il y crée ces premiers magazines personnels ainsi que le magazine Sorry Mom en collaboration avec Thomas Lodin.

He starts his graphic awakening by photography in 2004, the same year where he began to surf.
