    Uncontrollable laughter
    Physical (long term) effects: loss of coordination
    Dizziness
    Slurred speech

    Native to certain areas: the Sierra Mazaleca region of Oaxaca
    Used by Mazatec Indians for rituals and healing
    Salvia plants can be grown successfully outside of this region
    Can be grown indoors and outdoors, especially in humid semitropical climates.
