CALPET is a kind of Masterbatch, containing about 80% Calcium Carbonate based on Polyolefin resin.

Calpet is an additive / filler for Polyolefin resin and it should be used by mixing with Polyolefin resins(LDPE,

Introduction Some kinds of organic peroxides can preferably be used as initiators (radical source) for degrading P

olypropylene at above 200̊ C. The most common method of modifying Polypropylene melt flow is to us

e liquid type organic peroxides for chemical degradation. As liquid peroxide are exceptionally volatile c

hemicals, safety and stability concerns are serious issues for this process.

SMD series masterbatches are granulated formulations containing various contents of peroxide [DHBP, 2

, 5-dimethy1-2, 5-di(tert. butytlperoxy)-hexane]in Polypropylene resins. They are designed to be used

as additive masterbatches only in Polypropylene-compatible systems in order to impart benefits such as

effective dispersion of peroxides during the process and in order to increase safety during storage and h

andling.

Introduction When polypropylene is molded articles as housing of electric appliances(Electic jar, Coffee maker, Flyer…) Whi

ch generate electric heat, there are applied mineral-filled polypropylene (pp compound) which was improv

ed heat stability but decreased surface appearance because of that filler’s chemical ingredients and structural

molded article which have high heat stability and high glossy surface.

Calcium Carbonate 1. About CaCO3 Calcium Carbonate power is one of the most popular mineral fillers used in the plastics industry. It is widely

available around the world, easy to grind or reduce to a specific particle size, compatible with a wide range

of polymer resins and also eco-nomical. As an additive in plastic compounds, CaCO3 helps decrease surface

energy and provides opacity and surface gloss, which improves surface finish. Inaddition, when the particle

size is carefully controlled, CaCO3 heip increase both impact strength and fiexural modulus (stiffness).

Our Sam-A filler masterbatch provides a great opportunity to reduce raw materials costs and improve

coating quality. It can be used in LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP extrusion coating.

3. PP Raffia & PE Tarpaulin Application Sam-A Filler Masterbatch aspires to meet the condition of yarn extrusion. This helps to increase yarn

extrusion efficiency as it has anti-slipping effect at bobbins due to roughness and reduced filter blocking

enabling filler masterbatch users to perform longer production duration without any problem. We un

5. PS Application PS is one of the most stiffest and strongest commodity-plastics. The material is very easy to process on

injection-moulding machines. Typical applications are clothes hangers, desktop utensils, furniture industry

as well as sheet for food container applications and vac-formed products.


Product information - DESICCANT MASTERBATCH

Sam-A Desiccant masterbatch can counter problems which develop during the processing of plastics

due to the presence of moisture. Moisture can be present in raw materials such as hygroscopic

polymers, fillers and pigments. Reclaim and recycled polymer can also have high moisture content.

When processing polymer with high moisture content the polymer can become porous and show

voids in molded articles or extruded sheet. In film applications the high moisture content can lead to
