I believe this wise statement has a broaderapplication to education in general. The role of a school is to equipan individual with foundational tools necessary to pursue their chosenpath. The onus is then on the individual to use these tools to completetheir journey. As a passionate lifelong learner who is still applyingthe tools Ive acquired through extensive schooling, I believe I bringunique perspective and appreciation for quality education. It wouldbe a distinct privilege to serve on the BUSD Board and ensure thatBishop students leave fully equipped with tools for the journey.
