DAY 1: Arrival in Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you are met with the Luzuko representative who will assist you with your luggage and escort you to your vehicle where you will meet your guide and driver and be transferred to your Hotel for check-in.

Arrival drinks will be served whilst the guide proceeds with checking you in at the Hotel.

The rest of the day to be enjoyed at your own leisure.

Dinner can be arranged at a restaurant of your choice. We recommend Kiribu a South African dining experience with a menu filled with local flavours and a wide collection of SA wines.

DAY 2: City Orientation Tour and Table Mountain

Breakfast is enjoyed at your Hotel, before we depart to Table Mountain (Weather Dependent), we ascend with the cable car to the top of the mountain, 1089 meters above Cape Town and explore the summit.

Table Mountain is proud to be one of the official 7 Wonders of Nature. There are magnificent views from its distinctively flat-topped summit. You are surrounded by awesome views and the deep blue Atlantic at your feet. You can explore at your leisure on marked paths and trails.

Descend into the bustling streets and brightly coloured houses of the Bo-Kaap, located above the city, for a delicious local lunch tuck into a Cape Malay selection of samosas and sweet treats like koeksisters and milk tart and visit to Atlas Spice Trading to shop for spices to take home. Visit the Slave Lodge and places like the Cape Castle and the flower market while strolling down the company gardens and feeding squireles.

DAY 3: Cape Point with Funicular and Penguin Colony

Breakfast at enjoyed at the hotel before we depart for your full day Cape Peninsula excursion. We start on a scenic transfer to Cape Point via Sea Point, with a stop over at Hout Bay one of the oldest harbours in Cape Town. Enjoying a trip to seal island via a boat trip before we continue on our journey. Making our way through chapman's peak past the twelve apostles on route to Cape Point.

Lunch is enjoyed at Two Oceans Restaurant at Cape Point

The afternoon travel to Boulders Beach and a close up walking experience amongst the resident penguins. Scenic transfer back to your hotel in the later afternoon via the Naval town of Simon’s Town and brightly coloured bathing beach houses at Muizenberg.

Dinner can be enjoyed at a local restaurant in Camps Bay called Bungalow.

DAY 4: Winelands and Wine Tasting

Breakfast is enjoyed at the Hotel and after we departure for full day Cape Winelands excursion. The fertile green valleys of the Cape Winelands are surrounded by proud mountain ranges.

Here we are visiting places like: • Stellenbosch, tree lined streets, historical architecture, alfresco cafés and good shopping. • Franschhoek endless mountain vistas & quaint main street with pavement cafes & shops. • Cape Dutch architecture & wine tasting on some of the finest Cape Wine Estates: Anthonij Rupert, Boschendal, Plaisir de Merle, Delaire, Ernie Els, Vrede en Lust. Lunch is enjoyed at Boschendal Estate with a leisurely picnic lunch.

We recommend dinner at Round House in the Constantia Valley.

DAY 5: Aquila Day Safari

Welcome to a Big-5 experience. Aquila offers you a unique opportunity to see lions, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, and a leopard up close. Additional wildlife and flora are available to view on our once-in-a-lifetime game drives. Aquila Safari Lodge is a 4-star establishment in the Southern Karoo. The reserve is a 10,000-hectare conservancy, and home to the big 5. All safaris are in an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle.

We depart Cape Town by road with an early morning start by 06h45. The drive to Aquila is almost 2 hours; however, we make it feel like an hour. When arriving at Aquila, we are welcomed with local flavoured welcome drinks and a scrumptious buffet breakfast.Guests are assisted after breakfast to the open 4 x 4 safari vehicle and embark on the game drive.After the game drive, guests enjoy lunch, buffet-style in the dining area. Guests can then relax at the pool or browse the African curio shop before we depart to Cape Town.

We recommend dinner at the Waterfront at Harbour House.

DAY 6: Robben Island and V&A Waterfront

Breakfast is enjoyed at the Hotel and after we depart to the Clock Tower and Mandela Gateway “The Gateway to Robben Island.”Robben Island is an island in Table Bay, 6.9 kilometers west of the coast of Bloubergstrand. The name is Dutch for "seal island." It’s also where the former President Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 21 years.

We enjoy a short ferry ride to the Island where you will disembark at Murray's Bay Harbour situated on the east coast of the Island and take a short walk to the coaches that will transport you to all the historical sites around the Island. On the way to the coaches, you will pass buildings and a high wall built by prisoners during the 1960s. The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe's house, the Bluestone quarry.Enjoy lunch at the Waterfront once we have returned and some free time to explore the V&A Waterfront.

Farewell dinner this evening at GOLD African Restaurant with interactive drumming (6 pm): From the moment you walk through the glass doors into the Restaurant, it will take you on a taste safari from Cape Malay to African cuisine. A soothing hand washing ceremony will begin your dining experience, followed by your African feast.

DAY 7: Depart Cape Town

Breakfast is enjoyed at the Hotel.

The morning is at leisure that can be spend at the Hotel or get some last minute shopping done.

Check out will be facilitated by a Luzuko representative with a quick transfer back to the Airport.
