GRATITUDE TO THE FAMILY
Love for my family I have high and great
what I am today is only because of that
My mother developed me as her body part
with her flesh and blood taking efforts great
no words are good enough to describe that
sacrifices she made many can’t repay her debt
can only salute again salute and pay respect .
My sisters and the brother some elder but some not
together we grew and also together we fought
never lost the love affection and mutual respect.
My wife stood with me all the while day and night
through thick and thin provided worthy support
ins and outs she made my life easy and bright.
My children and the grand children too
real bundle of joy as God sent us super gift
they gave many moments proud happy and great.
Friends and colleagues played worked with me
just like family members I cannot ever forget
I love members all and have respect great.
The best tribute is for my Revered Father I kept
not only I saw this world as it was he who brought
not only the protection he gave and secured I felt
more so as he pulled me out of Zone called Comfort
and made me the human I am by lessons he taught
I bow before him Folded Hands and Respect Great.
Love for my family I have high and great.

BACKGROUND
UNKNOWN AUTHOR:
When we read anything, the first question, which comes to our
mind is, who has written this. If the writing is from a famous
author, we have some idea as to what type of writing is expected
but when it is from a new author, we get curious about the
background of the author. Therefore I thought it proper to tell the
readers about my background, before they start reading this book.
At the outset, I accept that in spite of my being a professional
management executive with more than four decades’ experience at
middle and top levels in corporate governance, I am not a
professional writer.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
I come from a middle-class family of a small town in Rajasthan,
known as Fatehpur-Sekhawati. I graduated in Science from the
University of Rajasthan, came to Mumbai, and started my service
with a well-known reputed stationery manufacturing company,
Kores (India) Ltd., at supervisory level. I also continued my
studies on part time basis, on the principles of earning while
learning. During my services with Kores, I completed my LL.B.,
LL.M., C.M.A., and C.S. studies. After completion of my studies
and gaining good experience at middle and senior levels in Kores
group, I worked in many other organizations at vice–President and
President Levels. While working for these companies, I got
opportunity to stay in major cities of India and also travelled

widely. I visited more than thirty countries for business purpose. I
am proud and privileged to have associated with many companies
which were not doing well when I joined them, but everywhere I
was instrumental in bringing the turnaround. The last assignment
for me in service was as President of Rashtriya Metal Industries
Limited, Mumbai for almost fifteen years.
LEARNERS’ ACADAEMY:
I was instrumental in establishing “learners’ academy” and
organizing many training programs for my colleagues. I used to
take monthly training sessions for executives, staff and workmen.
We also started a system where the executives and staff members
were to read a popular book on management topics and thereafter
taking a training session for the benefit of other members. I
observed that many of the managers and staff members, who were
though, highly qualified, but still could not grasp and interpret the
technical terms referred in the books properly. Therefore, I myself
started taking sessions to explain the concepts. While doing so, I
had to first read, and understand the subject thoroughly, then only,
I could speak before my colleagues. It is said “teaching is twice
learning” and I have firsthand experience of this. Such programs
developed an interest in me for reading, writing and taking training
sessions. The formation of learners’ academy helped in changing
the organization from an orthodox rigid one, into a flexible,
dynamic and ready to adapt new systems.
CURRENT POSITION:
My son after completing his engineering studies, wanted to do
something of his own. He was not at all interested in a salaried
job. Though for me, leaving a well-established, high position job
with handsome emoluments, and starting a new venture at the age
of retirement, was a difficult proposition, but I took it as a

challenge. I agreed to his suggestion and we established Plenty
Plastics Pvt. Ltd., in November, 2011. As we had to start from
scratch, that too with limited resources, it was a difficult and
tedious task, but due to hard work and adopting good systems
from day one, we could establish the company with good
reputation in the market, in a very short period. I continue to be
associated with this company as on the date as a Director.
I have tried to use and mention my experience, while explaining
various points in this book at appropriate places. I am sure; it will
help readers in understanding the concepts properly. The
incidences of my experience, have been described just to explain
the concepts and with no other intention. As considerable time has
elapsed, there could be some variation as well as mix-up, in the
description of the incidences, but the core concept would not
change. I therefore request readers to read it from the academic
interest point of view only.
