REAL ESTATE SECTION S0047 Earlier this year Stoelzel’s Structures released our Modular Mall, a project for wargammers to build their own enclosed shopping centers straight out of the eighties. Most of projects are designed to be mounted of 5mm thick foam core, they certainly always come furnished. This holiday season we thought we would offer you some extra free decorations to add to your mall, or other shop to allow Santa a place to reset his feet, listen to your kid, and perhaps earn 24.99 for a couple of wallet sizes. Inside this project you will find a small Santa’s Workshop where tiny little hands work tirelessly to bring your children the latest, Santa’s chair to rest his weary dogs, several oversized gift boxes which we assumed were strong enough to hold a child’s weight, and many character stand-ups for the impromptu photo-op while waiting in the no doubt lengthy line of eager children. We do apologize for the incidents which you may have read about in the local paper, or perhaps caught the segments on local broadcast which regards to last years Santa, but we can assure you we have had many lengthy discussions with “Santa” with respect to appropriate language and expected hygiene practices. We assure you, this year’s Santa will in no way carry a heavy cologne of cough syrup and menthols, and… …while we are mentioning cologne, for the last minute shoppers please be sure to check out our cologne section for your loved ones only at Wargame Vault. Furniture Build Instructions Print the sheets of room fixtures on heavy bond paper.

Cut out all your furniture and decorations. Draw around the edges of your cuts with black marker.

Fold along thick black lines. Use tabs to glue opposing sides of a piece or to glue a piece to the house.

A note on folds: There are two main types of folds you will need to make: Convex and Concave. Convex folds refer to any fold (90 or 180 degrees) where the images remain on the outside of the fold surface. Or in other words, the two sides of the fold are pushed away from each other. Concave folds are done in the opposite direction, with the images being brought toward each other.

Character Cut-outs

Character cut-outs are flat miniatures which have a painted front side and a wooden backside. I find it easiest to glue these sides together first and them assembly the lower base of the flat after.

Oversized gift packages

These items are simple cubes once assembled. Fold along the four black lines that separate the top of the table (found in the middle) from the four sides. Then fold the four white tabs ninety degrees so that they tuck under the sides of the table. Put a drop of glue on the white tabs to permanently fix in place. After building a few of them, of different sizes, consider stacking them up or arranging small walls out of them.

Santa’s Chair

Santa’s Chair is not that different than the simple cubes of the gift box with the only departure being the chair back. The high backside of the side has the front and back which must be folded 180 degrees to come together. After this is done, the remaining sides can be assembled as a cube coming off of this.

The Workshop

The workshop is also a simple cube with the exception of the roof. The roof pieces fold down toward each other and can be attached to one another by the tab found between them.
