Title Design and fabrication of
prototype device for extracting ocean
energy by using hydraulic oil
mechanism
Issue: 01 Date: 18-03-2011
CHANGES D/W REF REQUIREMENTS
1 Introduction
1.1 Preamble
A wave energy device which converts mechanical
energy obtained from sea waves into electrical
energy. This will be done by the action of hydraulic
rams which will compress the fluid and will help to
derive the motor and generator set through
accumulator.
1.2 Scope
The device will produce clean and green energy
from ocean and will be environment friendly.
The philosophy of using compressed fluid will
overcome the fluctuating wave energy into a steady
output from the motor and generator set.
