A proper noun is unique or specificperson, place, or thing. "London" is a proper noun--it is the name of a specific place. "Julia" is aproper noun--it is the name of a specific person. "Cheerios" are a proper noun--they are aspecific thing. Proper nouns are always captialized, no matter where they occur in a sentence.In the sentence below, circle the proper noun.
