SAN ANDRÉS AND ENTRERRIOS

EDITORIAL The village of San Andres belongs to the municipality of Girardota in the department of Antioquia. Entrerrios equally belongs to the department of Antioquia, Colombia.

The village of San Andres has an economy based on agriculture, particularly coffee and sugar cane, although lately this rewarding industry, its population is mostly of African descent . You are valued mainly for its cultural tradition, by the music, dance and the Sainete, and by this culture is recognized the sidewalk to the national and international level.

The municipality of Entrerrios economically lives of the livestock, agriculture, mining and industry. Its population is mostly Mestizo and Blanca. You are valued by its landscapes, protruding the Monolith, surnamed called Stone of peak due to their similarity.

Also stands out for the fresh waters and is recognized at the national level by its quality of life.

La vereda San Andrés pertenece al municipio de Girardota en el departamento de Antioquia. Entrerrios igualmente pertenece al departamento de Antioquia, País Colombia.La vereda San Andrés tiene una economía basada en la agricultura, destacándose el café y la caña, aunque últimamente esta primando la industria, su población en su mayoría es afrodescendiente . Se le valora principalmente por su tradición cultural, por la música, danza y el sainete, y por esta cultura es reconocida la vereda a nivel nacional e internacional.El Municipio de Entrerrios económicamente vive de la ganadería, agricultura, minería e industria. Su población en su mayoría es Mestiza y Blanca. Se le valora por sus paisajes, sobresaliendo el Monolito, por sobrenombre llaman “piedra del peñol” debido a su similitud. También sobresale por las aguas frescas y se reconoce a nivel nacional por su calidad de vida.

San Andrés is warm, but its dawns are cold, there is fog. Its sunsets are beatiful.By the other hand, Entrerrios is cold, it is almost imposible to see the surroundings because of the fog.

In Entrerrios people hardly ever go out because of the cold weather, on the other hand, San Andrés is warmer and that’s why it’s posible people go out and do more pleasant activities.

CULTURE San Ándrés is characterized by the festivity of the dance an farce; on the countrary, in Entrerrios they have the lasndcape holidar in June.

In Entrerrios they have the party of the “VIRGEN DE LOS DOLORES” in September, also the party of the “VIRGEN DEL CARMEN” in June. The anniversary of the municipaly of Entrerrios is in June 25.
