• Demanding program requirements can only afford limited application of “carves” as they reduce usable floor area and introduce layout inefficiencies.

STUDYING THE CONTINUUM DATUM OF THE SECOND FLOOR AND ITS CONNECTION TO THE TOP OF TERMINAL 2 AND THE ARTWORK
• The key alignment is soffit line of departures level - the most universally expressed datum line on campus.
• Detail at level 3 “carve” has been revised so it aligns with Norie Sato artwork.
• Facade patterning at Level 3 organized to further relate to artwork.
