As a reminder please look at the Holy Week mass schedule for the space

and time for the special liturgies this week. I also remind you that there are

no confessions on Holy Thursday and Holy Saturday. There will be no

daily mass during the Holy Triduum. I ask that no meeting take place du-

ring the Holy Week and no meeting during the Octave of Easter (unless

prior approval by the Pastor). Please use this time to spend it with family

and loved ones. On behalf of Fr. Augustine, Deacons and staff, I pray that

you have a blessed Holy Week.

Marian Pilgrimage to Portugal/Spain/France In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, I will be hosting a pilgrimage to various Marian Shrines. We will visit the shrines of Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Montser-rat just to mention a few. The dates of travel are No-vember 6th – 17th, 2017. The price of the pilgrimage is $3,198 (12 Days/10 Nights); it includes round trip air from Austin; hotel accommodations, double occupancy; breakfast and dinner daily; deluxe, private motor coach; English speaking Tour Guide and more. Deadline for deposit is April 19, 2017. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Cards: Mother Day and Father’s Day Cards are available in the Church Office for you to purchase and register the names of your love ones for the novena of mass-es during these special occasions. We have regular size cards for $5.00 each or larger cards for $20.00 each. The mother’s day Novena of masses starts on May 6th.

Blessing of Bread: It is the custom for bread to be blessed during Holy Thursday, the bread that families bring to be blessed is later shared on Easter Sun-day. I invite all the families to bring your favorite bread to be blessed during the service on Holy Thursday.

Infertility & Miscarriage Support: Sarah's Hope & Abraham's Promise is a spiritual support program for couples struggling with infertility and miscar-riage. Based on Catholic teaching, we combine the wisdom of modern medi-cine with the healing power of the Catholic Church. We offer a women's Bible study support group, couples healing retreats and prayer services throughout the year.

Adoption Support: Destined: Families Built by Love is a spiritual support program and monthly playgroup for adoptive families. Anyone who has built their family through the miracle of adoption is invited to meet with other families to share the joys and challenges of adoption and fostering. The play-group meets once a month in different areas of Austin.

Couples Struggling with Infertility

A special prayer service for couples struggling with infertility will be held

during National Infertility Awareness Week on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 7 p.m. at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church in Austin. Sarah’s Hope & Abra-ham's Promise of the Rabboni Institute, St. Ignatius Parish Respect Life Min-istry, and the Diocese of Austin Offices of Pro-Life and Family Life invite all to attend and join with these couples in prayer.
