 BORETS COMPANY  BORETS COMPANY FPBK-85 sand lter with ltration rating from 100 to 400 is designed to protect electric submersible centrifugal pumps (ESP) from solids when lifting uid from a well.  FPBK-85 sand lter can be mounted in two ways: to the motor base using a disconnector that is supplied upon request; to the bottom of the motor shroud using an adapter supplied with the shroud.  A sand lter includes a housing, slotted lter ( herein - after referred to as the lter element), safety relief valve, liner tubing and centralizer. The lter element is a stainless steel cylindrical body formed by rectangular and triangular prole wires. Filter elements are designed to t the slot width. The safety relief valve directs uid ow to pass over the lter when lter element capacity is reduced. The liner tubing is used to protect the safety relief valve, increase uid velocity and prevent solids deposition inside the lter. Advantages: No rotating elements and friction pairs, which eliminates locking and enhances reliability. Placed below the motor – less risk of damage of the external lter surfaces caused by the power cable while installing/pulling out of the equipment and no lter shading with the cable. Can be installed with different pump design; Example of Filter Identication Code: FPBK-85-150-300 Sand Filter , where:  FP – sand lter, B – Borets design, K – wear and corrosion-resistant, 85 – lter element diameter, mm, 150 – lter element slot width, µm, 300 – nominal ow rate of a connected pump, m 3 /day.     FPBK-85 sand filter can be mounted in two ways:

    Disconnector:

    The disconnector ensures that the fluid flows through the filter due to the sealed annulus. It is selected on the basis of casing ID 146 mm, 168 mm or 178 mm and supplied upon Customer request.
