3.1. Required User Input Enter "1001" then press Enter.

3.3. Description A profit center is a management-oriented organizational unit used for internal controlling purposes. Dividing your company up into profit centers allows you to analyze areas of responsibility and to delegate responsibility to decentralized units, thus treating them as "companies within the company". Press F4 to see and select possible values. Always use controlling "1100" to search for profit center.

10.3. Description The standard hierarchy is a tree structure which displays the organization of all the profit centers in one controlling area. The structural elements in the standard hierarchy are the profit center area and the summarization area. The profit center area is an end point in the tree structure which is not at the top and can have profit centers assigned to it when you maintain the standard hierarchy. The summarization area is used to summarize the data on the profit centers beneath it, although it does not itself contain any profit centers. Each profit center must be assigned to a node in the standard hierarchy for its controlling area. This ensures that the standard hierarchy contains all the profit centers in the controlling area. Choose a node on the lowest level of the standard hierarchy and assign the profit center to it.
