BASF started the journey of Custom Code Lifecycle

Management in September 2014

Since December 2015, CCLM is fully functional in use

to remove unused custom code from its managed

systems

Additionally CCLM is used to identify “100% clones” of

SAP standard programs

Usage data has been gathered with UPL (Usage &

Procedure Logging) since September 2014

Unused custom objects were removed from the system

in October 2016
