Multi-Level Configuration with AVC
Exercise: Check Multi-Level ConfigurationNow you want check the multi-level configuration in AVC. Use the simulation app.
1. Start the app Simulate Configuration Models.Search with Product T-FC98.
One result is plant dependend. Select this line.
2. Configure the header material T-FC98 configurable ML-AVC. Evaluate the characteristics arbitrarily but completely.
3. If you don’t have the structure panel on the left side, than start this with help of button “Toggle Structure Panel” You can open the 2. panel on right side with help of 2. button “Toggle Inspector”In the structure panel you find the “Configurable Items”. This is the multi-level configuration structure.
Go in the configuration of item T-FC198 Drive Assembly configurable ML-AVC. All values come from header material.
And so on for the other configurable item.
4. Go to BOM Explosion
5. Go back to “Configuration Items” and check the Routing Explosion

Exercise: Check Multi-Level ConfigurationNow you want check the multi-level configuration in AVC. Use the simulation app.
1. Start the app Simulate Configuration Models.Search with Product T-FC98.
One result is plant dependend. Select this line.
a) Start the app Simulate Configuration Models.
b) Enter Product T-FC98 and click on “Go”
c) Select the last row. It should be the plant dependent result.
2. Configure the header material T-FC98 configurable ML-AVC. Evaluate the characteristics arbitrarily but completely.
a) The simulation starts with the configuration of header material T-FC98.
b) Evaluate the characteristics arbitrarily but completely. For example:Type Of Drive = Electric (=> restricted Engine Performance to ( 18 , 25 , 30 kW)
Engine Performance = 25 kW (=> calculated Engine Performance in HP to 39,90)
Tail Light = Standard
Driving Mirror = Small
Road Equipment = with
Mast Height = Middle (=> calculated Mast Heigth in m to 4m and restricted Fork Length and Tonnage Capacity)
Fork Length = Middle (=> calculated Fork Length in m to 3m and restricted Tonnage Capacity)
Tonnage Capacity = 2500 kg
And so on for the other configurable item.
a) Configuration of T-FC198 => all values come from header material

b) Configuration of T-FC398 => no values come from header materialCounterbalance Width = 555 mm => restricted the value range of Counterbalance Volume and Mass
Counterbalance Length = 666 mm => restricted the value range of Counterbalance Volume and Mass
Counterbalance Height = 777 mm => calculated Counterbalance Volume to ~ 0,287203 (exactly 0,28720251) and Counterbalance Mass to ~ 2067,858 (exactly 2067,858072)
c) Configuration of T-FC498 => no values come from header materialWheels = Hard Rubber Wheels
d) Configuration of T-FC598 => Driving Mirror comes from header materialSchelter Width = 1200 mm
Schelter Length = 1300 mm
Driving Seat = fixed
Seat Back = Standard
Color = Red
e) Configuration of T-FC798 => all values come from header material
4. Go to BOM Explosion
a) Change on the left “Configurable Items” to “Exploded BOM” . If you don’t have a BOM explosion, than go to “Parameters” and complete the parameter: BOM Application = PP01.
5. Go back to “Configuration Items” and check the Routing Explosion
a) Go back to “Configuration Items” and click in the row of T-F98 in the 3. column.=> The explored Routing of T-F198 in the structure panel
b) Click on an operation => Details in right panel- General Information
