The Sales and Distribution (SAP SD module) includes of all system configuration , masterdata, and transactions to complete the Order or quote to Cash process. SAP SD module ± How it interli nk between with MM, FI, PP, and WM modules in sap SAP SD module is closely related and has integration with other modules , s like FI, MM, PP, and Warehouse Management (WM) modules. A SAP Sales Order (SO) from SAP SD module can execute an stock availability check and demand in materials planning of pro ducts that will be sold to the customer. If the pro ducts are not available, it may trigger the PP module to create a Production Order ; or it may ask the MM module to purchase the products form vendor so the required pro duct will be available at the specified time in the co mpany stock. This is the relationship between SAP SD module and MM moduleAfter goods received in warehouse and the products are av ailable at warehouse , SAP SD module will create anOutbound Delivery document or Delivery Order (DO) showing plat/ site and locations that asks warehouse personnel to pick the products andprepare the products to be delivered to the customer . If the warehouse is on sap WM module , the DO will trigger a Transfer Order document to pick the pro ducts from warehouse storage bin through sap WMS module or simple sap MM module.
