1. General
2M series transmission analyzer is applicable for engineering construction, acceptance,daily maintenance
testing of the transmission system.Its performance is credible & steady, complete function,small volume, display in
English,operation expediently and easily.
2M series transmission analyzer can undertake tests of 2Mbit/s digital channel, V.24, V.35, V.36, X.21,RS-449,RS-485, EIA-530, EIA-530A, equi-directional 64Kbit/s interface digital channels. It has already been applied to test
access network transmission network digital data network(DDN) etc..
The following are testing items for 2Mbit/s interface digital channel:

As is seen from chart2.2, the light only indicates the status of Rx1 or DATA port.
The right lights indicate current instrument status,green lights indicate the status normally, on the contrary red
lights indicate abormally.The instrument inspect event,then the red lights show for 0.5 seconds.If the event appear

The yellow lights on the left signal indicate history alarm document.The lights show
after the instrument inspect the event.They show yet when the event disappear until use
to clear.
Indicator explanation:
POWER Power supply working status indicator.The green light indicates the
instrument is working by inside battery or external power supply mode normally.The
red light indicates the instrument is working by inside battery,and it is lack of electronic
capacity,we must charge instantly.The yellow light indicates the instrument is working
by external power supply and charging at the same time.
SIGNAL The signals status indicator of Rx1 or DATA port
FRAME Rx1 port signal frame synchronization status indicator

The instruments keyboard has been locked, except for and , other keys are all
malfunction.You can cancel the keyboard locking when you press again.
The instruments LCD is been locked.
Main display section
The main section is been used to display the instruments setting & testing result.
Function key and function expanding key.
The key defining section locations at the bottom of LCD.Each black frames content show the fuction key
roles. Indicate further function key defining. Show functions shortcut key, please refer to 3.2

The keys can be divided into four groups: power supply switch, operation keys, function keys and cursor moving

also move cursor to Tests setting and press F keys to select Normal Test,Through Test,Delay Test,Audio
Test,APS test,defaults setting,ViewSets etc.straightly.
Test Results Move cursor to Test Results, press enter into and show testing result. You can also move
cursor to Test Results and press F keys to select current result, Time-slot analysis, and audio monitor etc
straightly.
Docum Manage Move cursor to Docum Manage, press enter into. You can also move cursor to Test
Results and press F keys to select Docum ManageViewSets or ViewResult interface straightly.
Device Setup Move cursor to Device Setup, press enter into. You can also move cursor to Device
Setup and press F keys to select submenu: Display, Printer, RTC (time setting) or Versionstraightly.
LinkToPC Move cursor to LinkToPC, press or turn off the function;press Turn on

Press ,the left & down corner will flip up shortcut menus when the expanded function keys of any interface

The interfaces of tests setting is composed of multi-screen interfaces, it is used to set instrument test items &
parameters.
4.1Tx/Rx1/DATA port setting
As is seen from chart4.1, its interfaces is 2Mbit/s and equal-direction 64kbit/s mode (when equal-direction
64kbit/s, it is invalid), the left indicates transfering port sets, the right indicates receiving port sets.Each columns
meanings is showed by chart4.2.
As is seen from chart4.3 and 4.5, its interfaces are V.24, V.35, V.36, X.21, RS-449, RS-485,
EIA-530 and EIA-530A mode, the left indicates transfering port sets, the right indicates receiving port sets.Each
columns meanings is showed by chart4.4 and 4.6.

Rx=Tx The parameters of Tx and Rx is same.When change Tx,Rx change automatically.

Move the cursor to Signal port column, there are the following items to select:
Terminal: signal input port impedance is 75or 120.
UnTerm: signal input port impedance is high resistance.
Monitor: signal input port impedance is 75or 120, and there is 26dB plus for input signal.

Move the cursor to Sync mode column, there are the following items to select:
