The theme for the day was'L' EAU EST LA VIE'meaning 'water is life'.
Shourjo Chatterjee,Accountant General Jammuand Kashmir, was the ChiefGuest and Rajeshwar Singh,Senior Superintendent ofPolice, CID HQs, Jammu,was the Guest of Honour onthe occasion. MumtazAhmed MLA, Gulabgarh wasalso present.
They were welcomed by theJunior School Prefect, IfraSambyal, who presented thewelcome address. The sportsevents commenced withmarch past by the fourHouses- Legacy, Tradition,Culture and Dignity.
It was followed by the Oathadministered by AtharavDabgotra, the Junior SchoolPrefect and the declarationof the Sports Meet open bythe Chief Guest.
Students of the primaryschool put up a remarkableshow with colourful dancedrama and various thrillingraces amidst cheers of stu-dents and parents.

It was informed in the work-shop that Students having
domicile of Jammu & Kashmir,passing 10+2 examinationfrom J&K Board or CBSElocated in J&K, willing to studyoutside the State, having familyincome of Rs. 6.00 Lakh orbelow per annum are eligible toavail benefit under the scheme.
Besides, every student will berequired to give preferences ofcolleges and allotment of seatswill be made through counsellingonly. In academic year 2017-18,more than 3200 students werereported under PMSSS and for2108-19, the scheme is set tosurpass the previous year's fig-ures.

Based on specific infor-mation regarding issuingfake qualification certifi-cates, state subject certifi-cates and other importantdocuments, police conduct-ed a raid at ShahPhotostat located at MainMarket Kupwara andrecovered many fake cer-tificates along with com-puters/hard disks andother accessories.
Police arrested one com-puter operator namelyMohd Afzal Bhat, son ofMohammad Mukhtar Bhat,resident of WaterkhaniDrugmulla.
