Saturday in Design Sydney 2007Excitement is building at Quarella Australia as the countdown to one of Australia's leading design events has begun. In this issue of Q News we bring you our latest product releases that will be showcased at Saturday in Design, a two-day event to be held Friday 27 July and Saturday 28 July 2007.

Safety checkTwo exciting new products with a focus on safety are also launching at Sydney in Design. r ten plus (R 10+) is a revolutionising surface treatment that is activated by moisture such as from the sole of your shoe to create an effective non-slip tile or slab. Another Quarella safety innovation on display will be custom-made stair treads, set in Quarella quartz composite stone. They will be available in five styles to suit a broad range of commercial interiors.

Also on display will be the newly released after-market marble care and maintenance kit, containing Q-Seal, Q-Clean and Q-Polish products.

Report: Brisbane Indesign26 May 2007Brisbane Indesign was a great success and exceeded all expectations. It presented a wonderful opportunity for Quarella to showcase its latest product releases and to meet with the Queensland design community. The display attracted more than 500 visitors and the enthusiasm shown was exceptional, with Wash proving to be the standout product on the day. “The response post launch has been overwhelming,” says Stewart Macciolli, managing director of Quarella. “It confirms our belief that Wash solid basins and shower bases will fill a much-awaited gap in the Australian market due to its custom-design option.” A rewarding experience and fun day was had by all and will ensure Quarella's participation at the 2008 event.
