Outdoor Recreation Plan recently found that

walking is Pennsylvania’s most popular way

to relax and get fit?

That’s one reason the Pennsylvania Parks &

Forests Foundation is excited to be a first-time

participant in the Highmark Walk for a

Healthy Community! We and 47 other

Pennsylvania nonprofits are recruiting teams for

the May 20th 5k in Harrisburg and, thanks to the

support of Highmark, all groups will keep

every penny of the funds they raise for the

walk—be it through donations, walkers, teams,

or sponsors like you!

Suppose your business could reach the more than 38 million annual visitors to

our state parks and forests. Suppose you had a way to demonstrate your

commitment to Pennsylvania’s 121 state parks and 2.2 million acres of state forest.
