Welcome to Saunders’ Charolais 6th Annual Bull Sale. We’re pleased to welcome you back for another year of our seed stock offerings. With the continued positive movements throughout the beef industry, there’s no time like the present to upgrade your bull power. Our bulls provide calving ease, will improve your growth efficiency and increase your yield at the stockyard. Our bulls are some of the most structurally sound bulls to be found anywhere. The dynamics of our sale have shifted this year as we’ve invited the Futures’ One Simmental Group to join us. The Futures One Group includes prominent Ontario Simmental breeders offering competitive genetics, proven across the country. We’re grateful and fortunate to have them on board with us. Our bull line up this year includes the powerhouse sons of the 2010 Agribition Champion Bull, Sudden Impact, the 2008 Agribition Champion Bull JSR Trophy and Winn Man’s Pistol. We also have sons out of LT Bluegrass, EC No Doubt and JSR Tracker which can be considered for your heifer pen. All bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale and sold according to the Canadian Charolais Association Terms and Conditions. Yearling weights have been included in the catalogue and all bulls will be weighed again upon arrival at the Keady Auction barn and be available sale day. We would first like to thank Saunders Charolais for the invita-tion to join their well established sale. The breeders consigning to the Futures’ One Simmental bull sale have collectively devel-oped one of the strongest set of Simmental herds in Ontario as evidenced by the success of our female sale held in the first week of October. It was a natural progression to move towards a bull offering and we are proud to be associated with this sale in the heart of Ontario’s cattle country.
The four consignors combined have over 100 years experi-ence in breeding Simmentals and represent over 300 head of breeding cows. The bulls offered have been rigorously selected from these four leading Simmental herds. They were developed together on a barley based ration with corn silage and dry hay and are presented in their working clothes. The bulls will be semen tested and guaranteed as per the Simmental Association guidelines. They can be viewed prior to the sale at Destiny Simmentals near Meaford.

His mother is one of the heaviest milking cows on the farm with a great udder at the age of ten. Longevity is designed into this bull. His sire is our senior herd sire and we have not pulled any of his calves in three years plus they all get up and suck within twenty minutes.
