September 30, 2014 Dear Fellow SPCS-CC Members: This year we have had events that have kept us all pretty busy. I hope you all have had fun attending them. Firstly I would like to thank you all for the great support; I am immensely touched by the support that we have received from all of you throughout the year. With your support we have strengthen the foundation of SPCS while maintaining the true cultural values with the mind of tomorrow. As you all are aware that this is my first Diwali function as a California Chapter President. And I really appreciate your confidence and support to my committee and myself. I would like to thanks all the committee members and volunteers for their support and their hard work. Your feedback, suggestions and volunteering are very valuable to Samaj, please keep it up. As we are approaching the end of our 2014-year, I would like to invite everyone to join us in celebrating our annual Diwali Dinner, Cultural Program, which is to be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Jain Center, Buena Park (details for this event are enclosed)

Last year performances were excellent, and I am sure this year will also be very entertaining. As a token of our appreciation there will be nominal charge for the Cultural Program Participants under 20 years old. However I would like to request all the performers to bring tradition into our cultural show by doing folk dance, garba, and group dance and not concentrate on film dances alone.

Don’t forget to see our tentative schedule for this year, in which registration and appetizer will start at 4.00 pm and cultural program will start sharp at 5.30 pm, please check schedule on page 2. If you know of any member who did not receive this letter, please ask them to contact any of the committee members or visit our website www.spcsca.org to download forms.
