2019 Recital Information Kit Dance/10 is proud to present our 35th Annual Dance Recital: 4 Shows – 11:00am, 1:30pm, 4:00pm, 6:30pm This information kit contains everything you need to know about this big day! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us or stop by the studio.

TICKETS *TICKET LIMIT* – 4 tickets can be purchased for each show in which you have dancers participating. Requests for additional tickets can be made when ordering and will be fulfilled as possible. Tickets are non-refundable.

RECITAL PICTURE DAY Saturday June 29th – starting at 9am – see attached schedule sheet for details VIDEO TAPING/PHOTOGRAPHY DURING THE RECITAL For the safety of the dancers, NO flash photography will be permitted. For the enjoyment of all audience members we ask that you turn of LCD screens on cameras/tablets and phones. DVDs are for sale by our video vendor SAME DAY PRODUCTIONS. See enclosed flyer for more information! MAKEUP Makeup is necessary to avoid a washed-out look under the bright stage lights. Please use the following directions as a guide.

1. Use Lipstick that is “Red”, we recommend Revlon “Love that Red” 2. Use Base and Powder to match skin tone. 3. Eye Shadow - use base color over lid, then darker in eye crease. (use brown tones) 4. Eyeliner - use on upper and lower eyelid. Should extend past outer corner of lid and lines should NOT connect together.

For safety purposes, ABSOLUTELY NO JEWELRY is permitted, unless it is an assigned part of your costume. (This includes earrings of any kind, bracelets, watches, rings, necklaces, etc.) COSTUMES/ALTERATIONS Make sure you have all pieces to your costumes and appropriate shoes. Double check to make sure you have the correct color tights. (Tights and shoes are available through our store). Also check your costumes. Sometimes pants may need to be shortened or a strap may need to be tightened. Please have this taken care of by show time.

DRESS REHERSAL

THERE IS NO DRESS REHEARSAL RECITAL All students need to arrive 45-minutes prior to show time. Bring your student to the stage door entrance. Follow the signs in the lobby of theater. We will escort your student to the parent-in-charge of their class. They will sit with their classmates during the performance in the green room. There are monitors for them to see performances on the stage. We ask parents and guests to avoid getting up during the performance and moving around the theater. It is distracting to both audience members and the performers on stage. Length of each show: approximately 1-hour and there is no intermission STUDENT PICK UP At the end of the show, you will return to the stage door to pick up students. We ask that you are patient, you will need to sign out your dancer. PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING! Costumes, costume pieces, dance shoes and tights can all get mixed up in the dressing rooms. Labeling everything ensures its safe return! We are not responsible for any lost/stolen items. SAFETY Performers and those with BACKSTAGE PASSES ONLY will be allowed in the dressing rooms and backstage areas. This is for both before and after the show. AFTER THE SHOW Remember classes continue through July 27th. Don’t forget to register for Summer Dance Camps at Dance/10! Schedule is online www.dance10.org Camp sessions include:

PICTURE DAY INF0 2019

Recital picture day at DANCE/10 is Saturday, June 29th, 2019. No regular classes on this day. Please arrive dressed in costume with hair and make-up done 15-minutes prior to scheduled time.

We will take a group photo for each listed dance and then you may have your picture taken solo or with a friend. (Students limited to three costume changes for individual pictures)

If you have a question about hair, shoes or correct tight color please contact the front desk.

LOCATION: Dance/10 Performing Arts Center TIMES: See reverse for complete schedule WHO TAKES PHOTOS: Our company photographer Al Wright from Raintree Studios. HOW DO I ORDER PHOTOS? Raintree Studios will notify you when pictures are available for review. Once you have reviewed your pictures you may place your order. There is no obligation to purchase photos.

Use of personal cameras or cellphones for taking photos will be prohibited

during all photo sessions. We appreciate your cooperation.
