Farmers have accepted and trusted that the Minisett Technology works.
Farmers are willing to practice the technology on subsistence level to avoid Milking to improve on-farm yield and income.
Commercialization should be hand held approach
* OBSERVATIONS
• Erratic rainfall that affected germination, establishment and yield.
• Cultural issues such as women in seed yam production
• Guarantee market for seed yams
* CHALLENGES
• Expand training to new communities.
• Repeat some old communities to improve farmers participation if possible.
• Capture the adoption rate.
THE WAY FORWARD
