A Lender
chooses a
Borrower
and makes a
loan.
Kiva transfers
the loan to a
local Field
Partner.
As the
borrower
repays the
loan, the
Field Partner
transfers
funds back to
Kiva, who
alerts the
Lender.
Kiva
repays the
loan to the
Lender on
a monthly
basis.

Matter to a Million is a unique opportunity for every employee to bring to life the
HP Living Progress vision of working together to help people, economies and
the environment thrive.
On February 25, the HP Company Foundation through Matter to a Million
provided every HP employee with a $25 credit to make a loan on Kiva.org to
support entrepreneurs in high-need communities around the world.
