ALUMNI DINNER TICKETSAVAILABLE

Tickets are now on sale for the annualAlumni Dinner to be held on Thursday, No-vember 6, 6:30 p.m. at the Sheraton GrandeHotel. Each year the Association gives aDistinguished Service Award and the 1986recipient is Emeritus Professor Lloyd Tevis,'50. Tickets are $55 and can be purchasedfrom Rebecca Weeks in the Alumni Office,Rains Building Room 109, ext. 1045.

Each year, there are limited seats availableto students at no charge due to thegenerosity of local law firms. Studentswishing to attend should such seats becomeavailable may stop by the Alumni Officeand sign up. If more students sign up thanseats available, the selection will be done bylottery.

Announcing an open competition for Loy-ola's trial advocacy team. The competitionfor Loyola's mock trial teanr' wi ll take placeon November 21. All participants mustcomplete Trial Advocacy by Fan '86. Com-petition is open to all who meet this re-quirement. The problem will be distributedon October 31. Pick up a copy from Prof.Natali's secretary in Faculty Support, thirdfloor Burns Building. The members of theteam will compete in the spring '87 regionalcompetitions at Santa Clara Law School. Inaddition, the top two competitors qualifyfor the Bryne competition as Best Advocateat Loyola.
