They had been warned that there would be many thieves on theway and were quite careful with their money pouch. So they refused and tookturns to sit holding the bag containing their money while they had dinner.
To keep the pouch safe they decided to use it as a pillow. To theirhorror the next morning, they discovered it was gone ! Kamlesh and his wife hadentered the room and removed the bag while they were asleep. The two were indespair. They would not be able to complete their pilgrimage and went to Kamlesh.“Where is our money ?” they demanded.

May be the Lord does not wish us tovisit him’ As he uttered these words, the sound of drumbeats was heard. The oldcouple was very happy ‘ We may have no witness, but God knows we are speakingthe truth’ Then they stood up and, after drrinking some water from a nearbystream, they picked up the drum which to their surprise, had become muchlighter. ‘God must have heard us and has made our load lighter’ they said happily.In the afternoon, Kamlesh and his wife carried the drum back from the court.They too found it very heavy and decided to sit under the big tree to rest.
