Existing and legacy systems, designed to traditional ‘non-cloud’ specifications, may not be able to realize comparable benefits, or may require significant reengineering in order to be viable cloud candidates.

Successful digital transformation is more than just a lift-and-shift of on-premise systems to public cloud, and in some cases, may simply require the discipline to stay put when migration to public cloud is unlikely to deliver meaningful benefits.

our approach We begin with the creation of strategic frameworks that will guide the cloud transformation process. Successful initiatives will often hinge on their alignment with core concepts such as overall organizational objectives, level of experience, governance processes, tolerance for risk and applicability to different cloud platforms. The application of strategic frameworks allows us to quickly identify likely candidate projects, while deferring others. Initiatives that are unlikely to be successful will fail early (and cheaply).

More intensive and detailed technical assessments are reserved for project candidates that strongly align with strategic frameworks and near term objectives. At this stage, the additional investment of time and resources is justified by the high likelihood that the project will result in a successful outcome.

Finally, we design cloud environments using best practices that consider all relevant security and compliance requirements. Extended engagements are built on an agile methodology that delivers useful outputs within regular, well-defined intervals.
